Great Podcast for Any Fan!
I’ve been a fan of The Cars since I was seventeen (2011), and I’m so glad I discovered this podcast. It’s funny, interesting, and very informative. I’ve found myself laughing and agreeing with several things out loud to myself because of the things stated above. I’d recommend this to any fan of The Cars, 100 percent.
Worst Podcast I’ve ever tried to listen to
Tried Episode 59 (oddly the only Episode available on Apples Podcast App) Love Donna’s website but I think I’d rather she did the Podcast alone. By herself she has great content. With this guy and friends, there is nothing of value spoken. It’s more about grandstanding and mindless banter amusing each other and extremely little to do with any info about The Cars. An unfortunate waste of time. But…to be fair I will go on YouTube and try to find the previous 58 podcasts that others here rated so highly, since #59 is the only available one here.
UPDATE: Changed my rating. Went to YouTube where I could access more than this awful Episode 59, and the rest of the podcasts are MUCH better. Conversations are more focused, with a few interesting high level guests. Dave is OK when not led astray by the 2 guys in Episode 59. Skip that Episode and enjoy the others. It’s not a very professionally produced podcast, but that’s OK. It’s more like sitting around the Kitchen table listening to a casual unscripted conversation.
Excellent podcast, a must for an infinite fan.
I’ve been a fan since I was 13 (‘82- ok yes it was Ben, but I went from superficial to authentic!) and a fan/subscriber of the podcast since early this year.
When you stick with a band (and Ben) for so long, there’s only so much you can read about or have left to discover.
Donna and Dave do a great job going over EVERYTHING! Just when you think you know everything there is, here comes another episode with of the band’s anecdotes or theorems for songs.
Thank you for keeping me going.
