Not Everyone who Plays Sports is an ATHLETE Steadfast Life Coaching

    • Christianity

There are people who play sports and there are athletes  - you will find that not everyone who plays sports is an athlete, and not every athlete plays sports.  The classification of “Athlete” comes down to values:

An Athlete values a friendly relationship with discomfort

An Athlete values developing the SKILL of self talk

An Athlete values taking 100% responsibility and REFUSES to blame

An Athlete values teammates and contribution to something bigger than themselves

An Athlete values the process and is driven to find the next 1% adjustment

To awaken the athlete that is living inside of you, try asking these 5 questions about the next challenge you face:

What purpose will this discomfort serve in my life?
What would I say to a teammate or friend in this situation?
How do I want to respond in this moment without needing anything to change?
What is one easy adjustment I can make immediately?
How does it help others for me to show up my best?

Whit and Jake are Christian Life Coaches at Steadfast Life Coaching.  We teach you how to awaken your inner athlete to prevent quits, self judgement, negative self talk, disconnection, and pressure as you pursue God's purpose for your life.

There are 3 super fun ways to work with us
