Are you saying yes when you should be saying no? Ep. 37
We live in a culture that puts a demand on our time; we often live our lives so stretched thin that we believe the only way to catch a breath is when we take a “much-needed” vacation.
But what about in the church?
Are we living under the same demand?
Are we feeling the pressure to be involved on a level that’s costing us our joy and peace?
The truth is, even in the church, there is an underlying do more in order to be enough message that puts a burden on God’s children that is not His heart and it’s time to take an honest look at the reason we might be saying yes when we should be saying no.
In today’s episode we dive into that very question, Are you saying yes when you should be saying no?
I believe this is a question we should be asking ourselves regularly, but more importantly, we should be checking in with God. He knows exactly what He has for each of us in season — His grace is sufficient.
I pray the Holy Spirit speaks to you through today’s episode, unlocking His joy and peace without end, setting you free in greater ways.

She speaks so much truth! Our first ministry is within home. When your family seems to make you “go out of character” God is reveling the rotten fruit within you that is not connected to Him. Learn and grow in spiritual situations with your home. Speak life! The first item of your armor is the belt of truth! Read, hear, and speak the word of God. When you align yourself with Word the Holy Ghost will guide you. God uses our uncomfortable situations to grow us. Don’t miss this! You will wonder in the wilderness like the children of Israel when you complain, take up other idols, and turn your back against God. This is a great podcast and glad Jillian Ahonen is apart of my Spiritual Family. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 Reference James 1:22-25.
Wise and Godly Counsel
Jillian shares from her personal life experiences about how God set her free from things that were holding her back from who God wanted her to be. She gives practical tips on how to find freedom in Christ and overcome the lies we believe. Jillian is down to earth and real, and easy to listen to. Heading her podcast is like having a chat with that friend who will encourage you, challenge you and pray for you. She relates well to single moms, those who have been in abusive relationships, women in ministry and more. Highly recommend!!
