3 episodes

Lisa Valenti (emotionally intelligent, fiercely confident, and bold lady) and her breast friend, Sonni James (hug-o-holic, champion maker, and professional student) take on a topic that makes most people cringe. Shame. They talk about all different kinds of shame and try to bring it into bright light and okay-ness, all while tellin’ it to you straight up and dirty. Just like they like it.
They are not mental health professionals, they just want to create safe spaces in this wide, wild world we live in.

The balance between fun & real is here!

Real talk: this podcast has no fear. No shame is to big or too small to tackle. These are fascinating ladies & I love their BFF shenanigans. I'm also surprised by how often I relate to their deeply personal revelations. Starting one of these feels like a big hug after a long day, but don't be fooled -- they're often laughing about keeping it real. They've opened the door for important conversations that most of us just avoid. Worth it every time!

Great conversation

Listening to Lisa and Sunni discuss their shames and their general day to day life experiences has become a part of my weekly routine. It is great to hear a different perspective from two women from my generation on many different topics that should always be discussed. They casually bring up topics that are constantly evolving and can, at times, be controversial in today’s society. Lisa and Sunni do not force their opinions on you and have an open and honest dialogue that makes you feel like you are always a part of their conversation. Look forward to their episodes every week. Keep up the good work!!

Conversations with substance

Lisa and Sonni has so many things I like about a good conversation on their podcast! They’re funny, honest, sincere, and vulnerable. I’m always curious about what location they’ll be in because they keep moving around. Sometimes I feel like I’m there with them when they talk, and they bring on guests who add valuable insights to the conversations. Sometimes the topics are new to me, or from a completely new angle - which keeps it interesting and worth listening to. Definitely recommend this one!
