Every year, March is designated Women’s History Month. It is a time for observance and celebration of the vital role of women in American history. As we dig into the stories from our 12-year archive, we can listen to many Oklahoma women who have made this state great!

Angie Debo is one of them. She overcame gender discrimination to become our state’s greatest historian of American Indian history. Her portrait is in our state capitol rotunda.

During this podcast, Episode 16, we will also highlight other women of great influence in Oklahoma.
