Ordinary People Serving an Extraordinary God: Marigold
When ISIS invaded Sinjar in 2014, the Yazidi community was forced to leave everything behind and flee their homes—many not surviving the brutal attack. Marigold, who now oversees mental health initiatives for Samaritan’s Purse in Iraq, came out of retirement to walk alongside them in their suffering. In this special feature episode, Kristy hears how Marigold is offering care, compassion, and hope to the Yazidis as they begin to return home seven years later.
Thank you for the ‘On The Ground’ podcasts!
Thank you so much for your podcasts! I used to work for OCC and always LOVED to hear what was happening with SP around the world. I love how you are capturing the story in this format. Thank you for your time and sacrifice in making these happen!
Kristy- thank you for the podcast! I love hearing from those directly on the front lines with the many ministry areas of Samaritans purse. This greatly empowers me to pray more intelligently and specifically- and also- with more compassion and passion for God to strengthen all those who minister and volunteer.
