Jacqueline Fritschi-Cornaz is an actress and producer of Swiss origin with over thirty years of acting experience, Jacqueline has appeared in theatre productions, television soaps, commercials, and short films in Switzerland. She initiated the ‘Mother Teresa & Me’ movie.

Directed by Kamal Musale — known for films such as “Curry Western” and “Millions Can Walk” —  “Mother Teresa & Me” follows Kavita, a young English mother-to-be who journeys to Calcutta to escape her pain after being abandoned by her boyfriend after he finds out she is pregnant. She is then inspired by Mother Teresa’s own crisis of faith known as the “dark night of the soul.” Inspired by Mother Teresa’s example of perseverance and compassionate love, Kavita rediscovers hope and purpose. This rare, poignant, and inspirational film shows how we can overcome our own troubles by helping lift the burdens of others.

On this episode of Walk in Faith Craig Syracusa sat down with Dan Gordon to speak about his latest film Irena's Vow, the true story about the life of a Polish nurse Irene Gut Opdyke who was awarded the Righteous Among the Nations medal for showing remarkable courage in her attempt to save Polish Jews during World War II. 

 Dan Gordon is a Canadian screenwriter, producer, director, and reserve duty captain in the Israel Defense Forces. Gordon was hired to be the head writer for the TV show Highway to Heaven, for which he directed three episodes. Gordon went on to write numerous screenplays including Passenger 57 starring Wesley Snipes, Wyatt Earp starring Kevin Costner, Murder in the First starring Christian Slater and Kevin Bacon, and Let There Be Light starring Kevin Sorbo, The Assignment starring Donald Sutherland and Ben Kingsley, and the Oscar nominated film The Hurricane starring Denzel Washington
