One Sentence Podcast Christie Amber

I didn’t know what to expect when I first sat down to listen to this podcast. I just knew that I was interested in hearing Christie’s experiences. I learned a great deal about Christie by listening to her first episode, but I also learned how incarceration changes people in multiple ways. The first episode is compelling, genuine, and honest. It made me want to learn more about women, incarceration, and our justice system. The main “takeaway” from listening to this excellent podcast is this: It can happen to anyone — our friends, our neighbors, the person you talked to in the grocery store line last night. Listen to this podcast for one reason: The narrator is real and authentic, and her story has shaped so much of her current life. It’s a “must listen” for every person who has tried to make changes in their life and created a positive outcome against all odds.
