    EDDIE PENNEY | Living Unafraid

    EDDIE PENNEY | Living Unafraid

We live in some interesting times, to say the least. Coronavirus, the reaction to Coronavirus, political unrest, freezing temperatures across the country, riots, and so much more. And, unfortunately, rather than meeting these challenges on our feet like men, many have allowed fear to dictate their course of action.
Today, I am joined by former Navy SEAL, Eddie Penney to talk about living life unafraid. We talk about dealing with death, addressing and overcoming the victimhood mentality, equality vs. equity, where morals and values are derived from, and how to live fully in spite of the fear that surrounds us.
    SHOW HIGHLIGHTS
The things that people are afraid to talk about The silent majority The trend of a degenerate society Believing in the sanctity of human life Getting on your knees and kissing ass Treating everyone equally The best person for the job Difficult conversations with friends Believing you’re entitled to things Feeling excluded and left out Teaching your children about motivation and drive The discomfort in being selfless There’s no consequence to laziness Standing on your own two feet Socially adjusted kids The “unafraid” movement Addressing the elephant in the room Leading with a mature response Feeling blessed with your circumstances Proving something to yourself Turning things around Fighting for what is right The threat of losing freedom Being manipulated and controlled
    EDDIE PENNEY
My guest today is Eddie Penney. He spent 20 years in the military as a Marine initially then a Navy SEAL assigned to Navy Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU), better known as SEAL Team Six.

He’s an absolutely incredible human being and has proven himself to be a tremendous asset in the military, to his children, and in later founding the Contingent Group which is an organization designed to provide safety and security needs for people and organizations domestically and internationally.
    THE IRON COUNCIL
I ask every new member of our exclusive brotherhood, the Iron Council, why they decided to band with us, and, overwhelmingly, it boils down to accountability.

Accountability just isn’t something many men seem to be getting in any other capacity of life. But inside of the Iron Council, we have developed the systems and strategies for maximum accountability to other high-achieving men and, more importantly, accountability to yourself.

And, we’ve found that when a man learns how to harness the power of accountability, he is able to be much more productive, effective, and fulfilled in every other area of his life. Accountability fills the void that many men experience in their lives.

So, if you’re looking to harness the power of accountability in your life, we invite you to join us in the Iron Council at www.orderofman.com/ironcouncil.

    RANDALL WALLACE | Becoming Braveheart

    RANDALL WALLACE | Becoming Braveheart

If you’ve been following me for any amount of time, you are well aware that my favorite movie of all-time is Braveheart. So, when I had the chance to have a conversation with the man who wrote the movie, Randall Wallace, I jumped on it.

Today, Randall and I talk about the timeless messages for men found in the movie, how and what sacrifices must be made to achieve our goals, how to qualify other men who can serve as your band of brothers, discovering something that calls deeply to you, and ultimately, how we too can live our lives with the courage and bravery conveyed in the life of William Wallace and Braveheart.

My guest today is the legendary Randall Wallace. You may not recognize his name but I guarantee you that you are deeply familiar with his work.
Randall is a screenwriter, director, producer, New York Times Bestselling Author, and songwriter. He wrote Braveheart, Man in the Iron Mask, Pearl Harbor, and We Were Soldiers among many other incredible motion pictures, many of which he produced and directed and has won several Academy Awards.

He is an insanely talented individual – far beyond what I knew when we agreed to do a podcast together – and he is deeply reflective and insightful around the subject of men and masculinity.

You guys are going to really enjoy this conversation. It was incredibly powerful and inspiring for me.
    IRON COUNCIL
Gentlemen, very quickly, I wanted to introduce you to the Iron Council if you’re not already familiar. Randall and I have talked a bit about in this conversation the power of brotherhood and finding other men who are qualified to be in your corner.

Unfortunately, it seems to be increasingly difficult to find those types of men and develop powerful bonds that will help both of you succeed. That’s where the Iron Council comes into play.

Inside the Iron Council, there are over 800 men who are all like-minded and working towards the same goals and objectives. These are incredibly motivated and ambitious men and they have not only the desire to succeed but to help all the men inside the Iron Council do the same.

Awesome Content

Just started listening to the show recently, so getting into it kinda late and I’ve stated at the beginning and been listening to every episode. I work at a firearms distributor and manufacturer and I listen to the show while I’m working at my desk, I just finished episode 100 with Clint Emerson and noticed as they were talking about his company Shadow Systems and noticed I actually had a stack of his Shadow Pistols sitting on my desk as I was listening to it. I love that the show brings on a wide variety of successful men so that no matter who you are there’s bound to be episodes you can really relate to and give you some insights you may have needed and never realized it.

Whether it be as a father, husband, employee, patriot, or Christian, it drives me to be a value added member of society. And for that I would like to say well done Mr. Michler, keep up the good work. Also glad to see you on WPSN!
