These podcasts on the Spiritual Insights of Marie Routchine, founder of the Order of the Lily and the Eagle, were assembled from a series of conversations recorded in late summer 2019 between two long time members of the Order, Kevin Pugh and Larry Van Vleet, to show how Marie’s unique understanding of traditional spiritual work can practically assist anyone interested in developing themselves first as an individual and then, ultimately, as an enlightened contributor to society. Marie founded the Order of the Lily and the Eagle a little over 100 years ago along with another individual named Dimitri Semelas. Her hope was to create a new, undistorted vehicle for the dissemination of traditional spiritual teaching so that a world of strong, free and morally conscience individuals might become something valued in the world. We believe that the powerful insights that came out of her creation are truly amazing in their capacity to empower change in one’s life and we hope to share at least some of that excitement with you here. Here we explore some thoughts about what goes into knowing how to discover what is individually right or wrong for ourselves. It is difficult to know and everything around us attempts to stuff us with alien points of view that often keep us from expressing who we really are. Unfortunately, no one can discover much less express their own dissimilar personality if everything they use to measure that comes from influences outside of themselves.

Series 2-3: How to be Happy
This is the 3rd in our second series of podcasts on the Insights of Marie Routchine/Dupre, the founder of the Order of the Lily and the Eagle. In this episode we take a look at something that is both critically important to successful Initiatic work and is also a genuine need in everyone's personal life - happiness. In general, we have found that there is often a great deal of confusion over what it means to really be happy. Yet, from the Order's perspective, being "happy" is essential to the first real step in true Initatic work which the Order says is to become normal and balanced. In this episode we try to examine this from a practical point of view.

Insight Talk # 4 - On Obstacles to Expressing Dissimilarity
This is the 4th of our podcasts on the insights of Marie Routchine/Dupre, co-founder of the Order of the Lily and the Eagle. Previously talked a bit about the idea that all of us are uniquely dissimilar and cannot be truly happy and productive until we discover how to property manifest that uniqueness. We now take look at how dissimilarity can get distorted by our environment and the world around us. Understanding this distortion was Marie’s 4th insight is why we generally lose connection with that which we truly are.
