Eau Claire is located in west central Wisconsin and is the hub of a lot of great outdoor activities like bike trails and kayaking.  And being a college town, you can be there are a lot of great places to eat, stay and enjoy live music and festivals while visitng the area.

We have not had an opportunity to visit the area, but Eau Claire is on our radar for this bike riding season.  The Chippewa River State Trail is 30 miles long and you can pick it up right in downtown Eau Claire. Their website has an endless list of things you can do in the area.

The Hostel Shoppe is also heavily involved in their local cimmunity helping with special events to raise money for local bike trails. 

We intend to have great bike shops like The Hostel Shoppe on every three months with helpful tips when purchasing a bike and biek maintenance.

I knew about the beauty and serenity found in Manitowish Waters, Wisconsin, but we had never been there.  We needed to take a little break from working in our client's gardens and the productive year we have had in our business and it was time to unplug.  Stop by and listen as we share the great experience we had while riding on the Heart of Vilas County BIke Trail, eating in great local restaurants and watching the local water ski show.
