The OUT podcast provides a platform for LGBTQ+ people to tell their coming out stories. The series is meant to shine a light on the challenging and rewarding experience of claiming your identity, and celebrate a powerful unseen bond shared by those in the LGBTQ+ community. The podcast also aims to inspire and show solidarity to those in the community who are not yet able to come out. For some in the community, coming out is especially difficult. There may be safety issues, religious considerations, family pressures, or even a fear of death that prevents an individual from claiming their LGBTQ+ identity. Like the coming out experience itself, the format of the OUT podcast is meant to honor each individual's story. The interviewer allows each guest to freely tell their story without interruptions, and waits till their story is complete before engaging in a curious and genuine dialogue. Please enjoy the compelling stories of resilience, joy, and freedom in OUT.
