Ian shares stories from his 4,500 mile journey, explains his motivation for taking on such a monumental task, and describes how this experience has opened his eyes to the overall amount of good and commonality that exists in what seems like a divided country (maybe it’s not as bad as we think it is).

Audio

My boyfriend and I are driving back from Outer Banks listening to your podcast. When we are so enthralled in your story, all of a sudden you come too close to your mic and scare the crap out of us and pierce our eardrums. Please fix your audio or keep the distance consistent from your mic, your either whispering (and we cannot hear you) or yelling into the mic. There’s no happy medium. Of course, we did enjoy the stories you shared. Keep up the great work!

Love it!

The week of August 23rd-30th me and my girlfriends family were lucky enough to spend the week at The Outer Banks. This was my second trip to the banks, and I must say it was absolutely phenomenal.
I decided to check out the history when I was down there and was fortunate enough to hear some story’s of folk lore from a local I was talking to, that made me interested in checking out any podcasts relating to the banks hence how I stumbled across this. My parents live in Fuquay Varina, and coming down settled my decision in cement to move to NC and be as close as I can to the outer banks.

I love the podcast, I love the professionalism and the cool, laid back atmosphere of it brought in with from fresh aspect of the locals who live and have businesses there. Please release more, and know you have a fan! I am loving all of this history and intel I never knew before. Thank you!
