    POINTS:
4 S’s of Secure Attachment: Seen, Soothed, Safe, & Secure.
Social Engagement System (SES): facilitates various physical and emotional reactions such as facial expressions, emotional tone, body language, physical touch, and perception of a parent’s intention. It dictates our ability to handle difficult situations.
Obeying God can sometimes lead to rough sailing.
Jesus sees us and interceds for us in prayer.
Jesus comes to us on the very problems we are overcome by - to soothe us and safely secure us to Him.
Are you looking for the way out instead of the WAY through?

Little faith is when you use your faith to start attaching to Jesus, but circumstances cause you to stop.

    Fear Not: Persisting in Prayer

    Fear Not: Persisting in Prayer

    FEAR NOT
    HOPE (Persisting in Prayer)
    April 14, 2024
Main Scripture: Luke 18:1-8, Luke 13:12-17
    Additional Scriptures: Genesis 3:10, 1 Thessalonians 5:17, Ephesians 6:18, Philippians 4:6, James 1:2-4, John 10:10, Luke 18:2-5, Romans 8:19-25, 1 John 3:6
    POINTS:
We defeat fear together by anchoring in hope, attaching in faith, and driving out fear with love.
We are surrounded by the decay of sin, the atmosphere is filled with fear and satan’s vultures are circling.
Jesus tells us to pray and not give up when the vultures are circling.
Hopelessness is the fear of lack and it leads to an anchorless life.
Persistent prayer anchors us and gives the enemy no way to move us (1 Thessalonians 15:58).
Prayer is the filter that cleans the sin-filled air and attaches God’s presence to fear-filled situations.
We must pray our legal rights as God’s children.
The widow is mightier than the vultures that are circling her situation because she has the law on her side.
To pray your legal rights you must:
Have a relationship with Jesus Christ as your Savior.
You must forgive those who have hurt you.
You must know your legal rights.

Fear Not: Fighting the Good Fight of Faith Together

Fear Not: Fighting the Good Fight of Faith Together

    FEAR NOT
Fighting the Good Fight of Faith Together!

    Main Scripture: Romans 8:31-39
    Additional Scriptures: Romans 12:2, Hebrews 6:19, 11:1, Psalm 42:5, 1 Timothy 6:12, 1 John 4:18, Galatians 6:2

    POINTS:
Fear can come dressed as doubt, stress, control, lack, negativity, guilt, shame, and depression.
God heals our fears by applying hope, then faith, and then love.
    Hope is an anchor.
To set down anchor when we are triggered we must practice remembrance. Remembering God’s faithfulness and His word.
To fret means to be gnawed by worry, remembering lies instead of truth.
Faith is an active attachment to a hope-filled life.
Codependence is characterized by excessive emotional or psychological reliance on a partner.
Faith is a fight. Faith fights for attachment to God and others.
    Consumer Christianity is shallow attachment.
    Perfect love drives out fear.
Love is practiced by giving what it needs.
    No one should fight alone!
Nothing can separate our attachment to God.
