This week on the podcast, Karin and Beth Anne discuss the process of editing. What should authors expect when they submit their manuscripts to publishers? Should authors have their manuscripts professionally edited before submitting to a traditional publisher? We hope you find this episode both informative and encouraging in your querying journeys.

Summerchaser ,

Great writing & publishing insights

So fun to listen to people who have a love for kids, a passion for storytelling, and publishing experience address some of the main issues in the industry. Middle-grade and YA fiction are some of my favorite genres, but it’s hard to find titles with compelling, non-preachy, and age-appropriate content - and this podcast helped me see why. Even better, this is a great way to learn about true, beautiful, and good books to read! Discovering Owl’s Nest has been one of the highlights of my year.

Very Enjoyable and informative

If you cold in a future podcast, please address the difference between query, synopsis and a blurb. They seem redundant at times, which makes them a bit confusing.
