Siti Aminah Tardi is the current commissioner of Komnas Perempuan 2020-2025. Komnas Perempuan is the National Commission on Violence Against Women, an independent commission in Indonesia that works to uphold women's rights and combat violence against women. Prior to Komnas Perempuan, she has been a researcher and public advocate since 2000. She has served at the Indonesian Legal Resource Center (ILRC), Indonesian Legal Aid Foundation (YLBHI), LBH APIK Semarang, Child Protection Agency (LPA) of Central Java, Working Group on Gender Justice and Human Rights (K2JHAM) at LBH Semarang, and the Conservation Café Foundation (WARSI) in Jambi. She specializes in criminal law, criminal procedure law, and women's human rights. She has experience handling cases involving freedom of religion/belief and gender-based violence against women.
