On toninght's show we will wrap up our discussion about dealing with blended families. This is a continuation of the first two episodes. Many people have been apart of a blended family, blended families can be fun and also can be a problem if they aren't handled with care. The majority of families have shifted from the original biologically bonded mother, father and child. We are now a nation in which the majority of families are divorced. Most go on to remarry or form living together relationships. We will talk about the effects, the good and bad of blended families.

Pass the Mic with Pastor Mike: Keeping Your Marriage Vows Pt. 3
God honor marriages, but the question remains, do we, the people, honor what He does? Taking vows are not just saying words, but a "vow" means a solemn promise. In other words, it is a commitment with no intentions in breaking them. Biblically, there is a way out when infidelty is a concern. Other than that, marriages takes works and every day will not be a ray of sunshine and hope, but those are the times when marriage becomes strengthen. When two seperate imperfect people come together and work through life problems and struggles. Two imperfect people will not birth a perfect marriage but they can perfect areas of their life together when both parties are willing!

A Breath of Fresh Air
As believers living in the aftermath of culture wars and unconscious biases, especially in the church, my husband and I have found great encouragement in this podcast and the light it sheds on issues of race. This podcast has been a breath of fresh air...creating the space for the type of conversation we can finally relate to and is so relevant and necessary for our time.
