Phil Young: shredder of ply The Après

Since smuggling his homemade snowboard onto a school ski trip, Phil has been hooked, and his contribution to the U.K snowboarding scene over the last 30 years has been monumental. His role on Board Stupid, a prime time snowboarding show from the 90’s, captivated future snowboarders inspiring them to strap a plank to their feet and head down the mountain.
A master storyteller, Phil details his DIY board making credentials using Do It All ‘borrowed’ materials, unleashes a devastatingly brilliant ‘Making Tracks’ and discusses the importance of more diversity on the mountain and outdoor spaces.
