Plan A Watersprings Church Podcast

Nothing takes God by surprise. I mean nothing! Therefore, regardless of the unsettling news and commotion around the globe, God remains enthroned in His sovereign reign in power and glory, overseeing the affairs of men. God's plan for our salvation has been in the books before all creation. "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love..." (Ephesians 1:3–4 also see 1 Peter 1:13-20) Almighty means all mighty, right? There is none like our God! Jeremiah, the weeping prophet, writes, "Inasmuch as there is none like You, O LORD (You are great, and Your name is great in might)" (Jeremiah 10:6.) Hannah prays after receiving the miracle of a son she named Samual, "No one is holy like the LORD, for there is none besides You, nor is there any rock like our God. (1 Samuel 2:2) God is always working His plan A, and He will see it done. The Psalmists write, But our God is in heaven; He does whatever He pleases" (Ps 115:3) and "Whatever the LORD pleases He does, in heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deep places." (Psalm 135:6) God has decreed His plans, and He will see them done to the praise of His Glory. So, do not be afraid of all the noise and commotion around us. The lesson He gave to Peter, James, John, and Andrew is just as encouraging today as they were then. All the noise is God simply moving pieces into place for our glorious entrance into the Kingdom of God and the end of this age. So look up your brother, look up sister; our redemption draws near.
