"Endings and Beginnings" by Kaleen D. West Hills Friends

Kaleen Deatherage's message was framed by Jeremiah 29:11, John 13:7, and May Sarton's October 6th entry in Journal of a Solitude. She invited us to reflect on endings and beginnings in light of a tree shedding leaves in autumn, letting go in order to return deeply to one's roots. Instead of ascribing "good" or "bad" value to events in our lives, can we welcome them as invitations to encounter our own vulnerabilities? Queries included: how are endings and beginnings changing our frame of reference right now? Can we choose courage over comfort, even if it means facing our vulnerability? And what would it mean to "sit it out... and let it go"?
