An estimated 23 million people struggle with substance use issues in the United States and only 2.3 million are participating in treatment.
We were inspired to ask why.
Why were so few people willing to seek treatment?
Why were only a fraction of them being successful?

Most treatment methods available have:
Success Rates - Lower than 10% - Grossly Outdated Approaches - Excessive Costs - Abstinence Only Philosophies - Significant Time Commitments
There had to be a better way. The next year was spent pursuing all possible avenues for a more effective alternative. The findings sounded too good to be true, so Dr. Yasinski went to work developing The Moderation Method. The next three years were dedicated to researching, testing, and retesting.
The results were nothing short of amazing.
The program created challenged everything about existing treatment models.
