April Brucker and I met through Amber Lemay Live, and she is amazing. You can catch her in Vegas with her puppet May Wilson, who is a spitfire. April and I talk about always being the weird kid, the unique talents of being weird, and how to give less of a shit what anyone thinks. I absolutely adore April, and am so glad that my path crossed hers.

We get super passionate on this episode, and there are a lot of choice words. So earmuffs!

This is an inclusive podcast about imposter syndrome is by definition: is a psychological pattern in which an individual doubts their skills, talents, or accomplishments and has a persistent internalized fear of being found out to be a fraud. If you've listened to my podcast for a while, you know that is absolutely not how I definite it. I define it as the feeling of not fitting in or being able to truly be who you are authentically for fear of rejection. For the month of June, and Pride 2021, I wanted to honor some of the LGBTQIA+ voices I have heard from. In this lineup, we have gay, pansexual, nonbinary, and more. There are so many colors on the pride flag that can represent pieces of who you may be. For me, imposter syndrome super impacted my support of pride. I didn't like being put in the cis-gendered straight box. I am non-binary, with both male and female energy. This year, and every year, I am proud to be queer.

UPDATE: We are on an interview hiatus. My husband and I are moving OCONUS to Hawaii. To be considered for the future, please visit www.pleasedontkickmeout.com.
