Customer Reviews
Cautiously opptimistic
Awesome snipetts! I agree with many others...make the whole videos available on itunes. I would buy them. The idea of these videos is that they make you think and are great discussion starters. Our Theology and doctrine should always be based on Scripture. Though not perfect I think Rob Bell does a good job of representing the heart of Christ and his teaching. He does NOT cling to doctrine, tradition,or theological president over scripture and Christ's teachings. Scripture is the basis for doctrine and theology not the other way around. The videos and books are all about application...not knowledge, tradition,doctrine... They are designed to challenge all of us to look at scripture and then LIVE it, just like Jesus said. Jesus is the stone that makes men stumble and the rock that makes men fall....Jesus rocked the boat alot in his day!
Heresy
In case some of you didn't know, Rob Bell is a universalist. That directly contradicts scripture and is heresy. Therefore, if you are a young Christian and want Biblical teaching, this is not the podcast for you. I suggest you go look up Johnny Hunt, Dr. Adrian Rodgers, Dr. John McArther, and/or James McDonald if you want good doctine, but if you're into heritics, Rob Bell is your guy.
Great Inspiration
These video's never fail to stir me. Whether it's understanding God a little better or showing me a new perspective that I have never thought of before. I like that they're short; I'll view one every so often while at work. Great job at showing everyone a fresh perspectives!
