Warms My Heart
This podcast is so incredibly near and dear to my heart for so many reasons. The hosts are *hilarious* and the amount of pop culture covered between them is staggering. But here’s the best part: you don’t even have to know what movie/book/tv show they may be talking about in order to listen to an episode. They do fully warn you of spoilers if you do want to go and watch it on your own, but it’s not at all necessary to appreciate the dialogue they have. I listen to a lot of podcasts and not one has made me laugh as hard as this one does.
They do talk about serious issues as well, and I think that that is also something they handle beautifully. This is also the first podcast I’ve ever listened to where the hosts feel free to disagree with each other, will both respectfully listen to each other, and sometimes one changes their opinion, and sometimes one doesn’t, but the important thing is how respectful and well they model disagreeing with someone’s opinion. I just wanted to note his much I appreciate that.
I look forward to this podcast every week, have listened to every episode, and just want to thank the three ladies responsible for it so much ❤️.
Fierce, feminist, funny
Andrea and Lisa are two incredibly bright and witty women who say the things that I've many times felt as a woman about pop culture but haven't always said out loud, and they do so unapologetically. This podcast is truly a gift to women!! Thank you Lisa and Andrea
These Ladies Are Great
Thoughtful and hilarious conversations about the pop culture we consume.
