Aang in There is a spoiler-filled rewatch of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Every week, Zak and Jacob break down an episode of ATLA with the benefit of knowing the whole universe of Avatar. We also include the following segments:

Zak and Jacob will give their own scores, plus the listeners’ scores will be averaged and added as the third point. Then, the three scores will be combined to create the official podcast score for each episode!

    24 Season 1 Episode 4 Recap + Feedback | Worst Day Ever

    24 Season 1 Episode 4 Recap + Feedback | Worst Day Ever

    24 Season 1 Episode 4 Recap + Feedback | Worst Day Ever

Tick-tock! Check the clock: it’s time for Post Show Recaps to embark on a Jack Bauer podcast adventure! This is “Worst Day Ever,” a very stressful recap of the very stressful first season of “24.” Hosts Josh Wigler and Emily Fox are recapping every episode of “24” Season 1, without spoilers for folks who have never seen the show before (including Emily!), with only 24 minutes to cover any given episode.

First premiering in 2001, “24” centers on Counter Terrorist Unit agent Jack Bauer, played by Kiefer Sutherland, as he embarks on the worst day of his life. Terrorists are conspiring to assassinate presidential candidate David Palmer, Jack’s family is in danger, and folks he works with may be involved in both plots. Each episode takes place across this very bad day, with events occurring in real-time. For now, “Worst Day Ever” only plans to cover season one of “24.”

This week, Josh and Emily recap Season 1 Episode 4 and take feedback from the listeners. It’s Josh and Emily’s first time podcasting about “24” in 2021! How exciting! Josh and Emily take off the 24-minute restriction and spend nearly an hour in the world of Bauer, talking about what goes down between hours 3 and 4, and also taking in listener feedback for the first time all season. Josh and Emily will do another round of Off the Clock feedback in time for Episode 8, so send your thoughts to josh@postshowrecaps.com.

Throughout the season, Josh will post bonus “24” content for patrons of Post Show Recaps. You can get all of that and more when you sign up at patreon.com/postshowrecaps.

    The Bloom Files | The X-Files Season 5 Episodes 6 & 7: “Christmas Carol” & “Emily”

The truth is out there. In here? Who knows. But we’re opening up “The Bloom Files” to find out.

Though ’tis the season to be jolly, this week, Mike (@AMikeBloomType) and Angela Bloom (@angpalaggi) are getting solemn this holiday season. They talk about “Christmas Carol” and “Emily,” the dramatic two-part arc that sees Scully discover how important, and surprising, family can be.

Next week “The Bloom Files” will be covering Season 5, Episodes 11 & 12, “Kill Switch” & “Bad Blood.” Write in your feedback for those episodes to xfiles@postshowrecaps.com or bloomfiles@postshowrecaps.com.

    About The Bloom Files…

Married couple Mike and Angela Bloom travel to the FBI basement to crack open The X-Files. Every week, the two cover a single or group of episodes of the influential sci-fi series starring David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, which Angela has seen many times, but Mike has never. They’ll bring their different perspectives to this first watch/rewatch of Mulder and Scully’s adventures as the podcast goes hopping through the show’s first nine seasons.

Want to believe in more episodes of The Bloom Files? Here you go:

    Season 4 Episodes 21 & 23: “Zero Sum” & “Demons”

    Season 4 Episode 24 & Season 5 Episodes 1 & 2: “Gethesmane,” “Redux” & “Redux II”

Final Fantasy VII Remake | Chapter 3 + Chapter 4 Recap

Josh Wigler (@roundhoward) and Brooklyn Zed (@hardrockhope) are podcasting about “Final Fantasy VII Remake,” the Square Enix video game based on the 1997 classic JRPG.

Having played the original FF7 back when it was first released as well as thoroughly obliterating “Final Fantasy VII Remake” when it first came out in 2020, Josh is returning to the world of Midgar for the first time to check out what’s new in “Intergrade,” including an all-new chapter starring Yuffie Kisaragi. For their part, Zed is just now playing “Remake” for the first time, having already played the original FF7 twice now. This podcast is filled with spoilers for the original FF7, but will not feature “Remake” spoilers until Zed finishes the game.

This week, Josh and Zed continue through Midgar, stopping into Sector 7 to tour the neighborhood with Tifa Lockhart. Then, they go to uncharted territory alongside Jessie, Biggs and Wedge, and meet a horrible new nemesis in the form of bike-riding Roche.

If you want to play along while you listen to the podcast journey, “Final Fantasy VII Remake” is available now only on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

Additionally, Josh and Zed are also playing “Final Fantasy XIV” with the patrons of Post Show Recaps. Want to play along with them? Amazing! Join us at patreon.com/postshowrecaps by signing up at the Discord level.

Avatar the Last Airbender

Glad to see the ATLA podcast didn’t get canceled! Literally one of my favorite cartoons as a kid and still holds up into adulthood. Keep up all the great work at Post Show Recaps!

Love 99% of the network

Love almost everyone involved with all of the various reviews and recaps. A certain gentleman who had been added to cover Superhero stuff is very off-putting. He’s very combative, has a very haughty tone, and talks over everyone. His vibe does not match.
