This week we meet the talented Preacher Lawson. Preacher is an American stand-up comedian and vegan advocate, best known for being a finalist on the 12th season of America's Got Talent. He returned for America's Got Talent: The Champions, where he finished in 5th place.

Preacher was born in Portland, Oregon. He started writing jokes when he was 16 for about a year, then performed for the first time at the age of 17. He won the 2015 Funniest Comedian In Florida and the 2016 Seattle International Comedy Competition.

As well as his comedy work, Preacher also runs a YouTube channel, where he posts travel vlogs, vegan guides, and music videos, all with a comedic twist. A passionate vegan, Preacher also posts videos discussing the ethical dimensions of his diet.

“America’s Got Talent Las Vegas Live” - a live show taking place at the Luxor theatre in Las Vegas, has named Preacher as its host when the show premieres on November 12th
