Let's Talk about Marriage - with Mary and Jerry Lenaburg

Mary and Jerry Lenaburg have been married for 35 years. Together they've faced addiction, deployment, child loss, parent loss, and so much more. But they are an inspiration in the ways that they have been able to grow deeper in relationship even in the midst of these things.

Eileen and Patrick speak to them together in today's episode, and while the sound leaves something to be desired, the conversation does not.

You can learn more about Mary at marylenaburg.com or listen to her and Jerry on their podcast, The Mary and Jerry Podcast.

A Conversation with Whitney Whitmore of Lily of the Valley Catholic Ministry

A Conversation with Whitney Whitmore of Lily of the Valley Catholic Ministry

In this episode, I talk to Whitney Whitmore, co-founder of Lily of the Valley Catholic Ministry, about the way she has used her experience of loss to help other women.

Whitney experienced the death of her son, Colin, following a life-limiting diagnosis, and her experience brought her into the Catholic faith and introduced her to the Blessed Mother.  She also drew close to St. Gianna Molla, who is the patron Saint of her ministry.  Together with another mother who received a diagnosis of Down Syndrome for her daughter in utero, they formed Lily of the Valley to offer prayer and support for mothers who experience difficult pregnancies or loss.

A Conversation with Red Bird Ministries Founder, Kelly Breaux

This podcast is the next in my series of interviews with women who have experienced child loss and used that experience to create something to help others through this unique suffering.

Eileen interviews Kelly Breaux, founder of Red Bird Ministries, about her own experiences of loss and the way it challenged her faith. Kelly shares the places where Red Bird Ministries seeks to overcome some of the deficits that the church has in meeting the needs of families suffering from pregnancy and child loss.

Mindset Matters: An interview with Emily Adams

Mindset Matters: An interview with Emily Adams

I'm joined today by Emily Adams, a Catholic Mindset Coach with Metanoia Catholic and a mother of ten - four on earth and six in heaven.

Emily understands the grief and pain of loss and talks about how coaching helped her to shift the thoughts she was having  surrounding her loss. Doing this simple but powerful work of examining her thoughts and processing her emotions enabled her to find hope instead of feeling stuck.

Emily will be back to join me for my upcoming course called Navigating NFP After Child Loss, where she will be sharing some of these tools with us in my free online community.

You can find out more about Emily through her website, TheLittleSouls.com, or through her page on Metanoia Catholic.

Maytilly ,

Maeve Tully

My mom Eileen Tully is the sweetest most kind loving person I know. She is a hard worker and she always knows what to say. She has helped so many mothers who have experienced child loss. I love my Mama so very much and now I am only 11 but I just know that if I ever experience this I know that I can trust my mom and Jesus to help. The pain of child loss never goes away but this helps take at lest a little bit of the pain away.

Great for healing after a miscarriage

Eileen has a beautiful way of making the grief of a miscarriage manageable and not taking it on alone. This podcast breaks down how Mary suffered, how Joseph suffered, how her own family has suffered, and how they all found beauty in their suffering. As she says, grief doesn’t go away, but Eileen’s approach to grief has made my relationship with my husband, family, and God stronger, as well as giving me the strength to celebrate the brief life of our son. Thank you Eileen!
