 Following up on our podcast relaunch three weeks ago, we continue our discussion of UNO's Top 50 men's basketball players of all time, counting down from number 20 all the way to the top of the list.  The nostalgia is especially heavy in this one, as we gear up for a new season of Privateer basketball beginning on Tuesday night at Lakefront Arena.

In this relaunch of the Privateer Island podcast, we start gearing up for the upcoming basketball season with a discussion of the list (to date) of the top 50 Privateer men's basketball players of all-time, leading up to the tipoff of the 2019-20 basketball season.
We also touch on new Green Wave coach Ron Hunter's bizarre declaration that Tulane (TULANE!) is anyone's "big brother," let alone ours, in a blatant ploy to fire up the rivalry again.  Okay, maybe it kinda worked.

UNO's special 2016-17 title run, the upcoming league tournament, and college basketball tournaments in general are discussed.  Near the end, the conversation touches on the early fortunes of the Privateer baseball team.

After achieving the school's first conference tournament victory since 2008, Coach Mark Slessinger's Privateers enter 2015-16 looking to build on that success.  We discuss the mostly stable youthful-turned-veteran roster and the schedule for the upcoming year.
