Prograis KO Win + Dillian Whyte's Close Decision And More ! | Fight Freaks Unite Recap Big Fight Weekend Boxing Podcast

    • Sports

Coming off the Thanksgiving holiday weekend in the U.S., host T.J Rives and insider Dan Rafael of BigFightWeekend.com return for insight and analysis on the fight cards in California and England.

First, the guys discuss the Regis Prograis 11th round stoppage of Jose Zepeda for the WBC vacant junior lightweight title Saturday night in Carson, CA. Prograis was the better man and Dan has his thoughts on why and on the future for Regis at 140 lb./whom might be next for him to fight.

Dan also goes over the undercard wins for Heavyweight Bakhodir Jalolov and also American Charles Conwell at 154 lb. And, what might the short term futures be for both?

Then, we turn to the win by aging British Heavyweight Dillan Whyte who scored a close majority decision over American Jermaine Franklin Saturday night in London. Dan has thoughts on the cards and why Whyte appears to be nearing the end, as he had this much trouble with Franklin.

Plus, what's next for Whyte and could it be another fight with Anthony Joshua later in 2023?

Finally, there's also brief recapping of John Ryder's let down win by injury stoppage over Zach Parker in the WBO interim 168 lb. title bout Saturday night in a separate London card. Parker suffered a broken hand and retired on his stool after the fourth round. While Ryder will take the win, it didn't help his standing much. Dan has more on that.

Hear it all on the "Fight Freaks Unite Recap" which comes your way off the weekends on the Big Fight Weekend podcast feed. And make sure to follow/subscribe on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google, etc.!!
