Inspired Show

Dave Glassman is a guy from New Jersey with a cool new podcast. This is a music show in which all the songs are meant to lift you up and spread a little joy. But these aren’t religious songs. He calls them “secular spirituals” and they come from all over the maps of classic rock, pop, soul, country, etc. You’ll hear a few famous songs but I love it because I hear so many excellent songs I’ve never heard before or haven’t heard in decades. He digs out the gems. I also love it because there’s no “message” other than that music is the best medicine (or at least it’s tied with laughter). He lets the songs do most of the talking but in between he’s got plenty of interesting lore about the tunes and the artists. If you love great music of all kinds and could do with some uplift without dogma or sappiness, you should check out this show.
