QMJHL's Opening Weekend, New Award and Number Retirements The Hockey News: On The 'Q'

This week on The Hockey News On The 'Q' Podcast, Will MacLaren and Jamie Tozer look back on the opening weekend of the QMJHL regular season:
- The contentious Rouyn-Noranda Huskies and Halifax Mooseheads are awaiting their first regulation wins, while things are looking up early on for the Moncton Wildcats, Baie-Comeau Drakkar and Rimouski Oceanic, among others.
- Nathan MacKinnon came home to Halifax on Friday night to watch his No. 22 raised to the rafters. Not to be outdone, the number 50 will be retired in Shawinigan in January to honor former star Jason Pominville
- There's a new award up for grabs in the 'Q' with the announcement of the Patrick Roy Trophy, to be handed out for the player judged to be the league's top goaltender. It's a final legacy to the former player, coach, GM and Hockey Hall of Famer.
- What defines a fight? How will certain situations be punished under the new legislation? After Saturday's game in Saint John between the Sea Dogs and Acadie-Bathurst Titan, it appears those questions - and the answers to them - may not be as cut and dried as it would initially appear.
