Just what I’ve needed!

I haven’t been writing much lately, and I have been trying to find my way back to it. Your guests and conversations have been very inspiring and motivating. It’s just what I’ve needed to rekindle that creative flame. Thanks for all you do to connect our community!

Terrific, Insightful Conversations

I’ve listened to all of the episodes to date, and I’m impressed by the wealth and variety of experiences each playwright guest brings to the table. By any measure, they each have had tremendous success. The conversations are engaging, the guests articulate and willing to share so much of their own stories. Darrin, as host, is clearly in his element. His passion for storytelling based on authentic characters shines through in his questions and works to fully engage his guests. If you have an interest in playwriting or theater in general, you should give it a listen.

Looking forward to many more listens!

I just found this podcast and noticed that all (currently) 4 of the episodes feature playwrights of particular interest to me. So I seem to have hit the jackpot. I just finished the Dana Hall episode and it was just as interesting a chat as I’d hoped. Darrin J. Friedman has a winning formula here. Less stodgy interview and more fun conversation. I’ll be listening to the previous three talks, and I’m happy to say I’ll look forward to future playwriting discussions with not only playwrights I already know, but hopefully new writers whose work I will learn of and explore.
A terrific addition to my podcast listening.
