Caleb Campbell Quits The NFL Quitted

    • Society & Culture

Caleb Campbell is a kid from Texas who did the impossible: he was the first player in West Point history to be recruited into the NFL. His dreams came true, all the hard work paid off, everyone was so proud. He had the life millions of young athletes fantasize about. But there was one problem: he hated himself. And he knew, secretly, that in order to survive, he needed to quit football. On our debut episode of Quitted, Caleb takes us to church as he shares his story of leaving behind who he thought he was and his path to finding his way home, casually dropping an entire book’s worth of wisdom along the way. If you’ve ever assumed you’d have nothing in common with a pro football player, this episode will prove you so wrong.
About Caleb Campbell: Caleb is a West Point Graduate, former Army Officer and an ex-NFL linebacker who now travels the country as a full time keynote speaker and workshop facilitator. Whether he’s in a school, on a stage at a conference or working with a team of executive level managers, Caleb is passionate about sharing a message and facilitating brave conversations that empowers individuals to grow through change and expand their lives and their leadership capabilities by growing more emotionally aware, resilient and connected. Caleb also co-hosts a podcast, Happily Together, with his wife Kara at their home in Nashville, TN. Find him online at www.strongestme.com and www.calebcampbell.me, and on Instagram @caleb_campbell.
