Atomic Business Coaching-Episode 34
Dare To Be Different: How To Overcome Limiting Beliefs & Achieve Your Goals
Welcome to the latest episode of the Atomic Business Coaching Podcast! Join Adam and Tom as they challenge their listeners to "dare to be different." In this episode, they discuss how business owners must achieve their goals by having the courage to try different things, differentiating themselves from the competition, and rewriting the rule book.
Tom highlights the limiting beliefs that often hinder productivity and success in the coaching arena. He specifically mentions the "imposter syndrome" frequently experienced by solopreneurs and entrepreneurs, attributing it to fear and anxiety.
Adam stresses the importance of setting expectations to excel in a specific field. He suggests that accomplishing this requires hard work, a targeted plan, and the willingness to go against societal norms. Tom differentiates between the concept of limiting beliefs and unrealistic expectations, emphasizing that while reality does prevent certain opportunities, limiting beliefs restrict and paralyze individuals from taking any action.
Adam further expands this discussion by stating that most of the societal rules are set to keep individuals in line and that success requires breaking these rules and rewriting them. Tom cites differences between him and Adam as a factor that makes their business partnership successful.
Finally, Adam and Tom encourage listeners to self-reflect on their beliefs yearly. They emphasize the need for alignment with goals and the willingness to rewrite any limiting beliefs that are discovered.
Stay tuned for more insightful tips and practical advice in future Atomic Business Coaching Podcast episodes.

Trek Untold-Episode 144 | Clint Howard
Clint Howard: Past Tense, Present, and Future
Clint Howard is the only actor to appear in every era of Star Trek on TV and is one of the most recognizable character actors in all of Hollywood! He's accomplished plenty and been through some tough times, but today, his perspective on his life and career has never been more positive.
Besides Clint's 250+ roles in TV shows and films, Clint's appeared five times in the Star Trek franchise. He debuted as a six-year-old in the first season episode of the original Star Trek, “The Corbomite Maneuver,” as Commander Balok. Three decades later, he returned to the franchise as an adult for the “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine” episode “Past Tense” as a vagrant named Grady.
A little later, Clint donned his heaviest Trek prosthetics to play Muk the Ferengi in “Star Trek: Enterprise” in “Acquisition,” alongside other Trek alumni guest stars like Jeffrey Combs and Ethan Phillips. Almost 15 years passed until Clint rejoined Trek for this modern era, showing up as the Creepy Orion for the season one finale of “Star Trek: Discovery,” titled “Take My Hand,” and most recently, Clint was Buck Martinez in “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds,” from the episode “Under the Cloak of War. Whew, that's a lot!
In addition to Clint's prolific acting career, he and his brother Ron penned a dual autobiography titled “The Boys: A Memoir of Hollywood and Family,” all about growing up as a child actor and the stories that made him and Ron the luminaries they are along the way. We're talking Trek, the secrets of Tranya, what didn't make the cut in his Discovery appearance, his unfortunate Star Wars audition, and a whole lot more in this deep dive (including action figures) with the one and only Clint Howard!
