Raising the Level by Replacing Bad Habits Polly Campbell, Simply Said

    • Self-Improvement

Breaking Bad Habits With Something Better
The best way to break a bad habit is to do something better and Polly has been working on that lately. When she noticed she was feeling stressed or bored at certain times of day, she decided to add in some new ideas and actions to uplevel the moment.
For example, she puts her phone down whenever someone comes into the room or addresses her. Instead of fracturing her attention and even sometimes feeling frustrated by the IRL Facetime, like eye-to-eye she realized this bad habit of dividing her attention between people and the device was not making her feel good. Now she turns the phone over when she's interacting with another person.
These little actions and behavior changes can leave us feeling better, less divided, and more present during our days. Listen in to learn the other things Polly is working to swap out and some of the research-based tips she uses to be more successful. These ideas may work for you too, because if Polly can do them, anyone can.
