Loving This Podcast
I discovered Random Conversations a few months back, and I have greatly enjoyed not only the content of the podcast, but also getting to know the personality and proclivities of the pod host Elizabeth as well. I definitely recommend in addition to checking out the pod, checking out her live IG episodes, which are fabulous as well. I also love that this is a fellow Chicago local. Chicago is representing hard!

Not Random at all!
I must admit, the title made me wonder if I was going to like this because “Random Conversations” are something that too many podcasts out there indulge in… however it is definitely a misnomer. The aforementioned “randomness” refers only to the subject matter, which could be anything from race to culture to family dynamics, human condition type stuff. Also NOT random is the production of this podcast, which is more in the NPR audio documentary style and not an interview show. I was not expecting that. Overall I was pleasantly surprised to not have another interview show with comedians. This is an exceptional podcast that covers some worthwhile and interesting subjects. Put it on your playlist. I think Elizabeth's sensibilities in storytelling are going to take her places, if you listen to this now you can say you were a fan way back when.
