Customer Reviews
There’s nothing like it
As with any point in time, this is a special one in which to be alive, and the existence of Lou & Adele’s podcast is just the kind of thing that could only exist right now. Having this kind of insight into their lives and minds is something special indeed. Certainly never would’ve guessed this when I saw Dino for the first time in a bar in 1988 (89?). That show changed my musical life and it’s just very cool to me that I can now hear Lou working on the 4-track and the meal plan for the week too. It feels strangely, but wonderfully, complete. Many, many thanks.
this podcast could be your life
If you are an old indie rocker there is plenty to get into here, from anecdotes to (raw!) interviews. But what this podcast is really about is the everydayness of love. Lou and Adelle are two people who really, really care for each other, letting us peek into the muddle of their everyday connection, their work on themselves, and sometimes even their great chili recipes. There’s a redemption arc here that’s hard to miss, but there’s also comfort, and regard, and ease.
National Treasure
Lou Barlow is a National Treasure! Adele is pretty great too!
