8/12/18 The Psalms - Psalm 96 Sing A New Song
Today we finish our life as Redeemer Church. How are we supposed to respond to this? Psalm 96 gives a powerful call to praise God for what he has done for us and spread the good news of his love to all people everywhere. That is why our church exists in the first place. That is what will continue in our next season of life as Door of Hope. Let’s praise God this morning for all he has done and all he will continue to do in the future!

8/5/18 The Psalms - Psalm 22 Death Life And Faith
One of the huge threads that runs through the whole bible is that of death and life. From the first humans onward, new life only seems to come through some sort of death. Ultimately this story is fulfilled in Jesus, the ultimate death to life story. This is important and timely for our church as it is about to come to an end. Today we will revisit Psalm 22 as we reflect on death, loss, the hope of new life, and trusting God by faith in the midst of it all.

Psalm 30 talked about this kind of transformation when it says, “you turned my mourning into dancing.” It’s a Psalm of thanksgiving and praise to God for healing and rescue when it seemed death itself was near. What do we have to be thankful to God about as we consider these things this morning?
