This is a great and funny show that I have on constantly.
LOVE REEL SPOILERS
WHATS UP guys wanted to send some encouragement your way (and ask Joe a horror question)!
Love Reel Spoilers, have been a long time listener and genuinely enjoy the conversations and banter you all have. I majored in Film Studies when I was in college and even now I love hearing new and interesting thoughts you all bring to my favorite medium of art, cinema. KEEP IT UP and make it to 1,000 episodes! Cheering you on from San Antonio, Texas.
My horror movie question for Joe:
Have been recently watching all the Friday the 13th films in order because I never watched past the first two when I really got into “scary” movies when I was younger - my question is, is Friday the 13th: A New Beginning canon? Or do they just ignore it in Part IV: Jason Lives?
The ending of A New Beginning sets up that Tommy Jarvis is the new Jason, but then they completely re-do his character and story arc in the next. Genuinely curious, because A New Beginning is kind of a weak link in the series in my opinion, but Jason Lives was much better.
Anyway would love to hear your thoughts, thanks for doing what you all do!
