The idea to create this podcast came to us during the quarantine of summer 2020 whenever the world seemed to be on pause. As three young music professionals at the very beginning of our career, we found ourselves continuously discussing various music topics as it related to the world around us. Topics ranging from orchestral repertoire, conducting, music education, etc. would come up in hour long Facetime calls. One day, we decided to share our discussions with the world, and Relative Pitch was born. We feel that the purpose of our podcast is to showcase the talent, leadership, and passion that we see within our field of music, and to help pave the way for much needed change in our community that will make it a more diverse, enriching, and equitable atmosphere for anyone who wants to be a part of it.

Super Informative and Insightful
Lorin, Michael, and Anthony are phenomenal host of this podcast. Their information on Wagnerism, Music in Society, Societal Justice, and so much more, is very insightful and gives another side to music. They back their findings with facts and are open to opinions. I loved when they bring in guest to the show, it gives more insight. It also shows that music is not one dimensional. I especially loved the podcast with Christina Smith, as a flutist myself, it was very inspiring and showed different facets of being a flutist. I also loved Black History Month, it was inspiring and eye opening. The games at the end of the episode really keep you going as well. Reminds me that I need to listen to more composers😂😂😂😂 Their podcast is beyond amazing and I highly recommend it for those wanting to know more about Wagnerism, modern social issues in music, politics of music and so much more.
P.S. Don’t listen to O’Brianator😂😂😂He came to the wrong tea party and is butthurt because he’s to blind to realize he’s a racist, bigoted, neonazi who knows nothing of music or politics. Music is a big trailblazer for politics and can really shape it. If you had a basic understanding of music, you would know that. So, Brian, stick to your couch and tin foil hat sweetie.
