Hakim Adi is Professor of Africa and the African Diaspora at the University of Chichester, and the most prominent and preeminent scholar of Blacks in the UK. He is the author of several titles, including Black British History, New Perspectives, West Africans in Britain/1900-1960, and the focus of this episode: the essential and illuminating academic survey, Pan-Africanism/A History.
