Nevada Dairy Farmer: Daniel Perazzo (Episode #20‪)‬ Reno Dads

    • Parenting

In this episode, the Reno Dads podcast sat down with dairy farmer Daniel Perazzo of the Perazzo Brothers Dairy Farm (Fallon, Nevada). We’re always looking for interesting people in our community to chat with, and the Nevada Dairymen suggested we sit down with Daniel to learn more about family farming. We talk about life on the farm, raising kids – Daniel has four daughters and a son, and how dairy is helping to feed the world!

Daniel’s family has been in the dairy business for four generations. He told us about growing up on the farm and how his dad passed down his love of caring for the animals and how he’s teaching his kids about how the farm operated and how to care for the cows.

There’s a lot to learn about what goes into keeping a family dairy farm running, and getting the story from a dad like Daniel is really the second best way to do it. Probably the BEST way is to go and see the farm for yourself. The Perazzo Brothers invited our Reno Dads readers (and listeners) to get in touch with them to set up a tour. They even have a museum that tells the history of family dairy farming in Nevada. Seems like a fun family trip! You can find Perazzo Brothers at 6555 Stillwater Road,Fallon, Nevada 89406 or call them to schedule a tour at (775) 423-6556.
