As featured in today's Huffpost, "The Democracy Pledge" is a grassroots citizens' group designed to put companies, businesses and corporations on the record and on the spot by documenting which ones support democracy and which do not. The initiative was founded by Glenn Kirschner as part of his Team Justice endeavors, designed to encourage full citizen participation in the fight for democracy and justice.
The Democracy Pledge - www.thedpledge.com - is a place where consumers can go to see which companies pledge to support democracy and which do not. Voters' voices are loud. But to corporate America, consumers' voices are even louder. Let's let them hear our voices.
