My Black Perspective is simply that. I am a black woman with a perspective that has been cultivated by my own experience, the overall black experience, and my view of the world; specifically, living in America. My goal for this podcast is to simply bring awareness to potential listeners of the black experience, in a straightforward, humorous, and authentic way. Hello, everyone! I am your host, Ciara J! Welcome, to the “My Black Perspective” Podcast; formally known as, “Respect Her Perspective.”
For this episode, I just wanted to come on here and explain, why I decided to change the title of my previous Podcast and allow my listeners to get to know me.

So, if you want to learn more about me, then let’s talk!

Episode 01 - George Floyd and being black in America
Over the last few weeks, racial injustice and police brutality once again has been recorded and this time, it shook the world. Unfortunately, another innocent and unarmed black man has lost his life, to someone who was hired to protect, but not taught to serve the black community. This episode, was created to express my thoughts and give my perspective on yet another tragic murder of another black man, that was simply just being a black man in America.
