Being A Voice Online: A Brazilian Immigrant's Path To Freedom
In this episode, we meet Mackenzie, a new Brazilian/American citizen that’s been living in the United States for the past 8 years. She is a teacher at a charter school, and she’s seen the destruction of American values in our school system and in American society in general. She decided to speak up and was inspired to create her own Tiktok account three months ago where she compares current events and policies in the US with the disastrous results of certain policies adopted in her home country Brazil. Mackenzie is new to TikTok and all other platforms, but she’s growing an organic following of more than 13k and she hopes her voice keeps getting heard. Come listen to her story!
