I’m Monique LaForge Hart and welcome to Right On, My Friend! My journey through parenting has been difficult, amazing, and transformative. And Mothering has been without question my most favorite job, ever!
I'm a mama to three amazing young adults, a parenting consultant, and a former early childhood teacher. My children were what motivated me to be a better version of myself and it’s my role as a parent that allowed me to really discover who I am.

The Hero’s Journey of Parenting
I can so relate to this …having raised several children I know how deeply you need to go within to do them justice. A courageous look at your own imprinting and then carefully making new choices takes everything you’ve got. So glad there is a forum to share those trials and tribulations and give ourselves a hand for doing the best we can as parents. Hooray!
Parenting - Right On!
Yes, parenting was an endurance test for me too! I am thrilled that Monique has launched this podcast. Parents can learn from a parenting consultant like Monique. I will always remember how skilled my parents were as grandparents to our children. They learned how to parent by raising my sister and me. My wife and I learned by raising our children. While parents can learn through experience, Monique can help parents expedite their learning by sharing the knowledge and skills she has acquired as a parent and as a parent consultant. She possesses knowledge and experience as a child development educator and as a parent. Parents do not need to repeat the mistakes my wife and I made. Monique can help parents avoid the time and pain associated with many mistakes parents make.
