Restorative Justice and Healing Trauma on the Micro and Macrocosms + BDSM vs Abuse
Major Trigger Warnings Ahead!
Addiction, drug use/abuse, sexual abuse, childhood trauma, physical violence, etc are mentioned and lightly discussed. The second half of the episode tackles these moreso than the first half, which only talks about my personal family struggles with drug addiction. There is a song in the middle to separate the two parts, so you can skip through. It's not that heavy, though Caitlyn discusses her ex abusing her (the things he did) briefly.

We also talk about how much Arianna hates Lana Del Rey and Caitlyn hasn't had a lid on anything in her life, including the lid to her coolant in her car.

Ancient Goddess Cults
Arianna solo lecture! Caitlyn and I haven't been able to do much with "all of the stuff going on." Anyway, here's some info on various Goddess-worshipping cults in ancient times. Very non-exhaustive. Just a few from a magazine of Nat Geo I had to correct. There's a usurping Apollo, a gender-bend Pluto, and I'm smashing your pretty stories about Persephone being the Maiden, and introducing Kore, who no one ever talks about, but was the OG Goddess. I also discuss all the magical properties of the number Nine, as promised.

*SPECIAL* Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Review!
A nice chat about what we thought about the show. Obviously, spoiler alerts!
Overall, we loved it! Super fun to watch. It didn’t feel like a part of the typical mass media produced exploitive, “witchy aesthetic” culture. Very fourth wave feminism--but no cellphones or mention of social media. Another thing which I found super refreshing.
