They have over 60 years of combined experience in teaching, public speaking, counseling, ministry, and coaching. After much prayer, Merrill and Linda made the decision to step down from their full time positions in the church and public school to focus on strengthening families.     Armor Up! Fighting Spiritual Battles in your Home Ep. 358

    Spiritual Warfare Is Real — Are You and Your Family Ready? As parents, husbands, and wives, we can sometimes find ourselves fighting the wrong battle. Conflict in our homes, tension in our marriages, struggles with our children, and the pressures of culture can make it easy to see other people as the enemy. But Scripture reminds us that our real battle is spiritual. In this episode of the Rock Solid Families Podcast, Andy and Linda take a practical look at Ephesians 6:10–18 and the Armor of God, talking about what spiritual warfare looks like and how we can prepare ourselves and our families to stand firm.     Connection in Marriages with Linda and Robert Ep. 357

    Who is Shaping Your Child's Heart? Ep. 352

    Welcome back to the Rock Solid Families podcast! Here is a bonus episode this month, since this is the 5th Monday of July. In this episode, Linda Hutchinson is joined by Andy Dalton to wrap up the monthly theme of July - Freedom and Identity.  Let me ask you this question: who or what is pouring into your child's heart? Is it social media? YouTube, Netflix, ESPN, Hulu, etc. You get the gist. If your child spends hours daily in front of a screen, there's a good chance your child is being poured into but not by the things of Christ.  In this episode, Linda and Andy talk about the negative effects of too much screen time. You'll hear things like ESS (or Electronic Screen Syndrome) on top of other issues too much screen time can cause. But don't worry, this isn't just a scare tactic podcast. The team at Rock Solid Families gives out great advice for you and your family can do to help right the ship or to be proactive in your children's lives.
