RRR: Retro Rehab Replay: Episode 41 : Open a Restaurant in Myanmar : Lya Badgley
Unfortunately, our host Roger experienced a minor stroke and will be in physical rehab for the next few weeks (months), so we are playing a few of his favorite episodes until her gets back on his feet.
Opening a restaurant is a scary enough proposition as it is. How about doing it a civil war torn country? Lya Badgley takes us on an amazing adventure of her experience of opening a restaurant as a foreign entity to the country. But Lya was not completely foreign to Myanmar, she was born there to American parents. Learn how her being an outsider and insider to the Burmese culture helped her and her team establish a successful for year old eating establishment.
