This week's Stephen King discussion intersects with our love of true crime. And because our special guest, Kate Jenkins, happens to be a lawyer, we wasted no opportunity to discuss one of our favorite novellas and movies in the realm of an actual murder case. Would Andy Dufresne have actually been convicted of the double murder that sent him to Shawshank State Prison? Could he have ever had his conviction overturned on appeal?

Not only that, but we also use this amazing novella and film to discuss how it forces us to reflect on aspects of criminal justice, prisoner rehabilitation and institutionalization, compassion, and what it says about the Judeo-Christian values that shape our society.

Okay, also we pick which of our celebrity crushes would be on the poster that covers the tunnel we'd be digging out of our prison cells. Really, we run the full gamut here.
